| SI South Lancashire President Pamela Wright OBE called on us to Rise Up and Roar at the opening of the 2024 SI South Lancashire Conference at Wrightington Hotel and Country Club on 11th May. What followed was a day of inspirational women, moving testimonials and thought-provoking presentations on micro-financing, charitable service, womens’ health and the challenges faced by those trying to support the safety and well-being of women and girls locally, nationally and internationally. We had poetry, good food and interesting company. We were educated, moved and inspired by all we heard to go back to our clubs and to Rise Up and Roar. |
