SI Wigan will be laying a wreath at the Wigan Cenotaph on Sunday 13th November.  Any SI Wigan club members who are able to attend are most welcome, please meet at the Town Hall at 10.15am for the short procession from the Town Hall to Wigan Parish Church.

Are you interested in Climate Change and the effects on our lives. In October 2022 four members of SI Wigan are off on their travels to the SIGBI International Conference in Belfast where the focus is Climate for Change, which links to the UN Goals on Climate Change. The four members are looking forward to their trip meeting Soroptimists from all over the world to look at the impact of Climate Change and how we can help.

Scarves from Wigan and beyond were joined together and wrapped around The Royal Albert Hall SEVEN times to raise awareness of Dementia with Lewy Bodies.

Afternoon Tea at the Farm makes a welcome  return on Saturday 3rd September 2022. The venue is Maxwell Farm , Alder Lane , Hindley , WN2 4EU.  Please come along and support us as all money raised goes to support our charities. There will be tea , coffee, cake etc plus other stalls and entertainment. NB CASH ONLY

Several members of SI Wigan travelled to Southport recently to attend their 90th Charter Lunch at Hillside Golf Club. The lunch was well attended with Dorcas our Regional President and Sigbi President Maureen Maguire. SI Southport President Carol Cookson hosted the proceedings and a good time was had by all who were able to attend.
