At the Soroptimist International Wigan AGM in April the members thanked outgoing President Elaine Tyrrell for her fantastic year, congratulated incoming President Angela Holmes and a new member Diane Rimmer was welcomed to the club.

Members of SI Wigan with staff and students from Winstanley College following a regular meeting to support students prepare for life in further education and professions.
Easter rabbits and chicks for the Hospice
SI Wigan members and friends have again knitted Easter chicks filled with chocolate eggs and Easter rabbits for sale by Wigan and Leigh Hospice. They are selling like hot cakes ( or hot cross buns)
2017 Oscar Night Charity Ball
The Soroptimist International Wigan Charity Ball held at the DW Stadium Wigan had an Oscar theme in 2017. SI Wigan members, friends and guests dressed to impress. Following a champagne reception and meal, there was a raffle, an
