The Change of Insignia Ceremony was held at the prestigious Titanic Building in Belfast. Black tie and long dresses were the order of the day, and with a farewell speech from outgoing Federation President Maureen and inaugural speech from incoming Federation President Pat, together with all the incoming and outgoing Region/National Association/Network Presidents changing roles, it was an emotional affair.
It was a fitting close to what had been a wonderful, thought-provoking, conference. We are now looking forward to the 79th annual SIGBI conference, at NewcastleGateshead 31st October-2nd November 2013.
