After a fascinating and humorous talk by Raymond Smith, the owner of the Stones and Roses Garden, White Coppice, members of SI Bolton and friends had a wonderful afternoon looking around this beautiful garden and admiring , in particular, the perfect roses in all their varied colours and scents.
The weather was, for a change, beautiful, and we spent time chatting on the patio enjoying a cream tea. Raymond, an accomplished organist, then treated us to a short recital of popular music.
