Congratulations to Buxton Club member, Jo Holdway, who has been welcomed as President of Soroptimist International, Midland East Region.
Jo lives in Buxton with her husband. A dedicated professional musician and horticulturist, she will focus her year on well-being through the disciplines of music and gardening.
The 3 Region meetings will welcome speakers from Thrive, Buxton International Festival, the English National Touring Company, a garden designer, a former member of the Metropolitan Police, and a neurosurgeon.
Additionally, attention will remain on planting trees in celebration of Soroptimist International’s centenary.
This promises to be a very interesting and exciting year.
