Anne Nugent was a role model for Soroptimists worldwide, One of the longest standing members of the Soroptimist International of Dublin Club, she was dedicated to the ideals of Soroptimism and lived a very full life which embraced these ideals. She believed in attending Soroptimist Conferences worldwide in order to keep abreast of developments within the Organisation. Her many travels included Italy, Turkey, Australia, Austria , France, Belgium, Canada and Japan including many conferences held in the UK.
Over the years, she was always open to welcoming new members to the club and was well respected and liked by all members. She will be sadly missed by all.
She passed away 20th March 2015, aged 99.
