Hidden in Plain Sight Information & Awareness Event Dublin

 

Yesterday’s SI Ireland and more specifically the Dublin Club organised with An Garda Síochána, Ruhama, and The SERP Institute (Ireland), the event highlighted one of the most urgent human rights crises of our time:

Three amazing speeches from women, doing remarkable work in this — vulnerable young women, presenting to almost 60 interested listeners

1️⃣ , An Garda Síochána, from the within the , shared real-life cases and data, urging us all to report suspicious activity directly.

2️⃣ Hailey O’Shea and Alice Beswick, Ruhama, the Irish NGO fighting sexual exploitation, prostitution, and human trafficking, shared moving insights into supporting survivors through unimaginable trauma and helping them rebuild their lives.

3️⃣Ruth Breslin, () , delivered a powerful presentation. She shared disturbing reviews written by sex buyers, , highlighting the urgent need for awareness and action.

A huge thanks to all the speakers, to Mary and Breda from the Dublin club for the organisation and everybody who support us for making this happen. As the speakers mentioned, it is up to all of us to increase awareness, and influence, act where we can.
