CLUB DIARY

UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE UNABLE TO MEET UP AT THE MOMENT BECAUSE OF THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK. HOWEVER WE HAVE A RANGE OF ACTIVITIES TAKING PLACE ONLINE AND IN MEMBERS’ OWN HOMES.

 

WHAT’S COMING UP THIS AUTUMN 

 

October

SALVATION ARMY BOXES for the Homeless

Members will be collecting items for Christmas boxes for homeless people in Eastbourne.

 

26 October at 7pm on Zoom

BOOK CLUB

 

November

CLUB CRAFT WORKSHOPS to be held as small groups in members’ homes or out of doors where possible. Ideas suggested so far are painting, sketching, photography and crochet.

 

9 November at 7.30pm on Zoom

CLUB MEETING

Megan Maltby of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission will join us via Zoom to speak about the history of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and what their work looks like today. She will highlight some of the women they commemorate who did both ordinary and extraordinary work during both the First and Second World Wars. This will be followed by a Business Meeting.
