CLUB MEETING WITH MEMBER’S CAREER TALK, IWD QUIZ AND BUSINESS MEETING

Denise will talk about her life and work as a Soroptimist up to the present day. This meeting will coincide with International Women’s Day and Denise is also kindly organising a quiz with questions about women. Followed by a short Business Meeting.

AGM

Region President Grace will join us and give a short presentation on her theme of ‘Our Planet, Our Future”. This will be followed by our AGM Business Meeting when reports will be presented and Officers elected or reinstated. Members are invited to have canapes and drinks to celebrate our AGM and coping with this year’s challenges! The photos from our ‘Spring’ challenge will also be presented.

 

CLUB CRAFTS

We continue to make  knee blankets, twiddle muffs and stoma cushions which are much appreciated by the DGH. We also have the Teddies for Tragedies project for children in refugee camps and difficult circumstances.  Also Pat will accept scarves, hats and gloves to help families living in temporary accommodation over the winter months.
