In 2025-2026 we are delighted to have joint Presidents; Fiona and Susan. Both ladies have brought new energy to the club with the theme of ‘health for All ‘.
The year has seen a full program of events fully supported by our two wonderful presidents.
Service and Charity Work
We undertake a large number of service activities such as supporting Falkirk Foodbank (www.falkirk.foodbank.org.uk), Smalls for All(www.smallsforall.org) Young Care Leavers, Newsline (www.newsline.org.uk), supplying toiletries for Falkirk Custody suite. Our members also hold a knit and natter group where a range of items are made for the neonatal ward in forth Valley hospital the SANDS charity, The Beatson and Strathcarron Hospice


A new charity is chosen annually by the members and this year its the Mamie Martin Fund where funds raised from knitted blankets are used to provide education for girls in Malawi.
In November we will actively support the 16 days of action against Gender based violence. We are proud that members are actively involved in planning the events and actions across Forth valley in partnership with Falkirk Council.

Social events and activities
Our 80th birthday celebrations included a visit to St Andrew, a cruise on Loch Katrine and a visit to the Japanese Garden in Dollar. At our birthday dinner many friends, family , fellow Soroptimists from the Scotland as well as the president from our friendship link in Nice Azure came along.
Later in the summer we enjoyed a trip on the Forth and Clyde canal with the Seagull Trust then on Halloween we were again on the canal for a (scary) Burke and Hare performance .
Coming up soon is our Christmas social ‘Black Magic and Sparkle’
On the first Tuesday of every month we meet at the Klondyke garden Centre in Polmont for a social catch up.
