Born in Huddersfield in 1964, Paul has been profoundly deaf all his life yet pursued a career as a musician, pianist and organist. In 2007, Paul was awarded an OBE for Services to Music. In May 2018 Paul visited SI Halifax and brought along his local signing choir who meet in Halifax.
They performed a short concert and, more importantly taught club members how to sign songs which included “It’s Raining Men”.
