Ebola Virus Information

The disease, while terrible, is only spread by direct contact with bodily fluids or organs of infected people or animals. Current advice from the Government is that the threat is low in the UK, that they are monitoring the situation and have put in place adequate controls at UK borders. Further, they have expert treatment available should it be needed.

Should the situation worsen, then it is assumed that the Government is likely to impose more rigorous restrictions on entry to the UK. We will keep the situation under review as we get much nearer to Conference. Any relevant government advice will, of course, be followed.
