Change of Insignia, 2019-2020
The evening of the change of Insignia was a double celebration. Members marked the 70th anniversary of the Club’s Charter and enjoyed a cake baked for the occasion. President Maureen handed over to Presidents Sue and Glenys. The Club’s Vice-Presidents – Pam and Ann – are also seen here with their chain of office.
Mental Health Awareness Week, May 2019
The May Dinner/speaker meeting coincided with Mental Health Awareness Week and members wore green to mark this. The first speaker of the year spoke about Toilet Twinning (toilettwinning.org) – one of the Presidents’ charities for the year.
70th year – Working in Partnership, May 2019
For the club’s 70th year Presidents Sue and Glenys have chosen the theme of ‘Working in Partnership’. Their charities for the year are Toilet Twinning (toilettwinning.org), Alzheimer’s Society (alzheimers.org.uk) and Wirral Young Carers. Sue is seen here at the Change of Insignia.
Pop up charity shop, May 2019

Soroptimist Awareness Day, April 2019
Members of SI Heswall took a display about the club and Soroptimism generally to the Tesco store in Heswall. It was well received and members responded to a large number of enquiries.
International Women’s Day, March 2019
To mark International Women’s Day this year members of SI Heswall took a display about the club’s activities to the Gordale Garden and Home Centre at Burton. They were pleased to talk to visitors and had many enquiries about the club and Soroptimism.
