21st – 23rd Friendship visit to Dubai.

Saturday 29th – Regional Meeting of Yorkshire Soroptimists at the Bridge Inn, Walshford.
There will be talks from:
Dr Ruth Smith, High Sheriff Yorkshire “Children & Abuse”
and from Christine Corless, Director of Finance for Soroptimist International of Great Britain and Ireland who will take about the federation strategy for sustaining and increasing membership.
December
Tuesday 2nd – SI Bingley “Reclaim the night walk” 7pm from The Royal Pub.
Thursday 4th – Yorkshire Programme Action rail trip with a difference, part of our 16 days of activism to raise awareness and to address Violence Against Women. Train trip to Scarborough. Meet at York Railway Station 11.15am. 12.10 train to Scarborough.
