On Monday 18th September 2023, Kelly Morris – visual storyteller, photographer and promoter of the stories of women, visited SI Lisburn and Hillsborough.
We were treated to a rich memoir of Kelly’s own story with an emphasis on the women who supported her and whom she in turn has championed.
Kelly, originally from USA via Warrenpoint(!) has had a journey with both highs and lows, which for her, highlighted the power of women helping women and also how often women’s stories can remain untold and undocumented.
Kelly has spent time with many women, teaching and encouraging photography as a way to document their lives.
