Our meeting began with an update on the work of Leukaemia and Lymphoma NI charity and delivering a cheque for £1580.00 raised for the charity at a coffee morning event on 02/09/23 at Colette Greenhalgh-Noblett’s home : supported by SI Lisburn and District.

SI Lisburn and District President Karen Elliott gave members an update on the business completed at the SIGBI Federation Conference in London (3-4 November 2023). Karen thanked outgoing NI President and SI Lisburn and District member Barbara Carlisle for her dedication, commitment and service to Soroptimists in Northern Ireland and SIGBI federation.
Barbara updated members that the SIGBI Conference had awarded Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland with a Best Practice Award within the category Prosperity and SDG4 Education for the Public Speaking Youth Award Final.
