Youth Award winner 2014
The annual heat of the Youth Award Public Speaking competition was held on 15th October 2014. We had 9 contestants from 4 schools.
The winner was – Anne Grace Mulgrew – Thornhill College whose topic was “Gender quotas in Politics – positive or negative?”
Anne Grace will now go forward to the NI Regional Final on 7th February 2015 in Hillsborough Village Centre.
Siobhan McAteer the teacher from Thornhill College spoke about the competition:-

is such a big deal for her and has done wonders for her self-esteem”.
