Regional Appointment
At the Regional meeting in September Mary McKinney, then our President, was confirmed as Regional Vice President. Mary has been a member of the club for over 20 years. She has been president three times, Secretary for many years and Treasurer. It is an honour for the club and Mary feels very honoured by the nomination and looks forward to the support of members throughout her year. This means 2016-2017 will be a busy year for the Club and among other events we will be hosting the Joint North South Conference in the City.

Food Bank
Members supported the Rotary Foyle Food Bank appeal. Contact was made with Rotary to find out the most needed items. Each member was asked to bring 5 items of food which were then handed over to the Food Bank. We gathered a considerable amount of items. We received the following acknowledgement:-
Thank you to you and your members for a fantastic food collection. The food collected will go towards our food parcels over this Christmas period, which in turn is helping the Rotary Foyle food bank fight food hunger this Christmas. Your help and support has been greatly appreciated.
