A full-on programme at our Soroptimist Midland East Region meeting today led by our Regional President Kam and her team.
– We raised awareness of the 16 days of activism, showing our support to the 85 women that died this year as a result of violence against women.
– We had an inspired talk about membership and had an interactive workshop by our SIGBI Director of Membership Dishi Attwood
– We heard about the Conference experiences and forthcoming Convention in Dublin.
– We gave thanks to retiring officers and welcome new officers and we are buzzing with ideas after the event.
Even though, we had challenges that arose from Technology or lack of it. We all met and completed our agenda with humour, goodwill and showed our passion and enthusiasm for Soroptimism.
