Margo gave us a very interesting update on Newbury’s Ukraine guests. She was very involved and had a family of four living with her and her husband. Her talk included their arrival in the UK and how everything was put in place for their stay, most things went to plan but of course some things did take a little longer to sort out. Newbury town officials and residents were also very supportive. We also heard about how they had settled and what life was like or them now.
