Joyce’s Garden Party Saturday, 24th June 2023

in
We had glorious sunshine for the garden party. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon in Joyce's beautiful garden. Tea and scones were served whilst the Salvation Army Band played. It was a very relaxing, social event and also a successful fundraising event in aid of the Salvation Army, Rhyl - £954.38 raised to date with more expected from sales on Vintage and Marketplace. We had various stalls selling jigsaws, books, golf wear, a tombola, bric a brac, plants, cakes. There was also 'guess the weight of the cake' and 'guess how many sweets in the jar' as well as the inevitable raffle! A thoroughly enjoyable and successful day

The “Bee” team have worked hard to promote sustainability of the environment and educate children that without bees much of the produce and food we enjoy would not be obtainable. We have

Centenary Walk Celebrating 100 Years of Soroptimist International

in
The Centenary Fun Walk evolved from an idea originally proposed by Soroptimist International Chester to celebrate 100 years of Soroptimism.  The walk took place in September 2021 and it was decided that all 3 parts of the Region, Cheshire, North Wales and the Wirral, would be offered the opportunity of taking part in a walk of 100 miles+ which would culminate at Llandudno.  It was designed as an inclusive fun event to involve members, family and friends.  Collectively, members of SI Rhyl & District walked a total of 86 miles along sections of the North Wales Coastal Path.
