The date of the chartering of Soroptimist International Rhyl & District was 10th April 1965 and was sponsored by SI Denbigh & District, (now Denbigh, Ruthin & District)
There were originally 28 Founder Members and we would like to acknowledge them for sowing the seeds of the organisation so that we, following in their footsteps, may carry on the good work at local, national and international levels. We still have one Founder member who designed the President’s chain and jewel.
In 2015 we celebrated our 50th Anniversary by organising a 1960’s fun weekend. The photos show some of the highlights of our visits to:

- The cake baked and decorated by one our members.
