We had glorious sunshine for the garden party. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon in Joyce’s beautiful garden. Tea and scones were served whilst the Salvation Army Band played. It was a very relaxing, social event and also a successful fundraising event in aid of the Salvation Army, Rhyl – £954.38 raised to date with more expected from sales on Vintage and Marketplace. We had various stalls selling jigsaws, books, golf wear, a tombola, bric a brac, plants, cakes. There was also ‘guess the weight of the cake’ and ‘guess how many sweets in the jar’ as well as the inevitable raffle!
A thoroughly enjoyable and successful day
