We are delighted to confirm that our guest speaker on November 6th is John McGeachey from Humanity and Inclusion UK. Join us from 8pm at Brownsover Hall Hotel to hear about their essential work eliminating landmines and cluster bombs. Hill Street Youth and Comunity Centre, with its sports, creative and social spaces, is a vital part of Rugby life. Soroptomist Margaret Phillips was delighted to present a cheque for £1,000 to the centre. Many thanks to Wanda Fashions for their support at the fashion show, which made this possible. This is the third year that Soroptomist Rugby have supported the Hill Street Centre.
[new_royalslider id=”2″] The fashion show, supported by Wanda Fashion, was a great success, £1,000 was raised for the Hill Street Children’s scheme. Club members modelled the clothes, expertly described by Wanda’s daughter. Over 130 people attended and enjoyed some bubbly for a fantastic cause, supporting the youth of our community.
