What We Do
Our projects and advocacy efforts – known as Programme Action – are at the heart of Soroptimist work. From supporting women’s shelters to promoting girls’ education and campaigning for gender equality, our Clubs make a real difference both locally and globally.
As a Region, we come together regularly to:
- Share ideas and inspire one another
- Collaborate on wider-reaching initiatives
- Celebrate achievements and milestones
- Plan for a stronger future
Being part of the Region enhances what each Club can do individually – and brings the fun, friendship, and energy, and strenght of a larger collective.

- President – Leads and unites the Region, chairs meetings, and represents Wales South at official events.
- Secretary – Keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, managing communication and records.
- Treasurer – Oversees the Region’s finances with transparency and care.
- Programme Action Committee Chairman – Guides and supports Clubs in their project work, sharing best practices and aligning with Federation priorities.
