The Soroptimist International Wigan 76th Charter Dinner was held on May 5th at Ashfield House, the evening was a great success. It was attended by the Mayor of Wigan Councilor Ron Conway, SIGBI Regional President Margaret Molyneux, guests from neighboring clubs, members and friends.The Guest Speaker was Helen Smart (ne Don-Duncan) former Olympic swimmer now a teacher, who also played her euphonium at the dinner to the delight of the guests. Outgoing President Elaine Tyrrell was thanked for her successful year and incoming President Angela Holmes was congratulated and welcomed by all attending.
