Members and friends attended a meal at the Wheel Restaurant at Wigan College in March. The meal was excellent as always and service from the college students very professional. Money raised from the evening will be donated to charities supported by Soroptimist International Wigan.

Soroptimist International Wigan members and friends made chicks that were filled chocolate eggs to raise money for the Hospice.The chicks were sold at the South Lancashire Regional meeting and are on sale at Wigan and Leigh Hospice until Easter.

Soroptimist International Wigan has supported the Brick Project in Wigan for many years. Janet Mitchell Brick Fundraising Manager came and spoke to the members at the Business Meeting in March about current projects and developments.

The Soroptimist International Annual Charity Ball was held on February 10th at the DW Stadium. The evening was a great success with everyone entering into the spirit of Vintage Glitz or  Glamour. The evening included Olivia Garcia  X Factor contestant and possible Eurovision contestant.The MC
