SI Wigan were delighted to award their Young Achiever of the Year to Alessia Stewart – a very worthy recipient of this year’s award. Alessia gave a very moving speech outlining her journey through Cancer and the volunteering work she is now doing with for Childhood Cancer Care. Alessia can be seen here receiving her award from the Mayor who also gave a very gracious speech recognising the work that Alessia is now doing, Alessia is currently volunteering on the Cancer ward at Manchester hospital talking to parents about positive outcomes.
