President Gwen Ellis Jones walked the length of Offa’s dyke in stages over the
year to raise money for her President’s Fund which will be shared by her 2 nominated charities. These are Bangor Samaritans and GISDA, a local charity for young homeless people. She trampled through mud, snow, ice and storms as well as seeing some beautiful scenery in fairer weather. Members Sian, Lin and Olga joined Gwen for the last mile of her endeaour despite the best attempt of the Beast from the East freezing the path into Prestatyn.
