In June, Barbara Evamy gave an illustrated talk to the club about a visit she had made to Japan last Autumn. This included a tour of four of the five lakes at the base of Mount Fuji. Members were able to taste some of the unusual savoury & sweet rice products which Barbara brought back. Pictured is Mount Fuji and a shinkansen ‘bullet’ train.
Members will undertake further research by enjoying a meal at the local Japanese Restaurant in October!!
