Well done to all the members of Crieff SI who successfully completed their 60 for 60 Challenge.  The members (all 25 of them) decided to celebrate their 60^thAnniversary by completing 60 challenges which supported the values of Soroptimist International.

Challenges focused on eight main categories: Education, Elimination of Violence, Economic Empowerment, Food Security, Healthcare, Environment Sustainability / Water Sanitation, Conflict Resolution / Peace Promotion, Advocacy and Increase the visibility of Soroptimist International.

 

Highlights include:

Blythswood Shoe Boxes, boxes full of items to bring hope and joy to people living in desperate poverty.

60 food items given to Crieff Food Bank.

Recycled 60 old unwanted pairs of glasses, and given to Specsavers who then sent them onto Vision Aid.

Breast Cancer Awareness, members joined in on The BIG PINK and dressed up in pink to the meeting and raised money for a very good cause.

Environment Campaign involved beach cleaning.

Christmas and Easter Boxes for Richmond House Care Home.

Members made Club Badges for Anniversary Lunch.

A friendship rose bush presented to Richmond House.
