In Memory of Peter. A big thank you to the Soroptimist International Dublin club for supporting Aware at last years Flora Mini Marathon. It was so nice to visit their offices today with my sister in law Mary McGrath, Catherine and Tina and learn what valuable work they do. With over 2 million needed each year to run the charity, and only 20% government funded, the rest they rely on charitable donations. We met Drew Flood who accepted our donation.
We are so delighted to welcome our 2 new members to SI Dublin. Katherine and Caroline have been inducted this evening. We wish them many happy years as Soroptimist’s 🎉

We had our public speaking competition in the Mansion House on 10th November. Our 2 finalists were Emma Pichot from St. Raphaela’s Secondary School and Zainab Shahid from Loretto Balbriggan. Our runner up was Francine Ibeh from Colasite Pobail Setanta. Well done to all of the girls who took part, it was a fantastic day.
