We’re back at The Sage in NewcastleGateshead from 31 October to 2 November 2013 the venue for our 79th Federation Conference with the theme: –
‘From Vision to Action
Soroptimists Educating to Lead’
As Conference Chair on behalf of the Conference Committee I welcome you to this vibrant and dynamic Region of Northern England.
We are pulling out all the stops to bring you a Conference with a real Geordie welcome together with all the flavours of the North East and the North West.
Newcastle and Gateshead have much to offer from the renowned art galleries of The Laing and The Baltic to the unrivalled shopping of Eldon Square and the Metro Centre. The Centre for Life and the Discovery Museum, more theatres per person than anywhere in the UK and more restaurants on the Quaysides than you can possibly visit.
Or why not come early and sample other delights of the Region – the City of Durham, the rugged beauty of Northumberland and the charm of the Lake District.
The wide selection of hotels on both sides of the Quays offers a range of prices to suit all pockets and tastes from the luxurious to the modest.
But best of all come for the joy of Conference. We are planning to bring you an event and renowned speakers to surprise and stimulate you; a celebration of our Programme Action achievements and the opportunity to hear from the International President, our very own Ann Garvie.
Bring your partners and other family members especially your daughters! Give them all the opportunity to see what a great organisation Soroptimist International is and how it can transform their lives and those of other women and girls.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
