Club members joined for a Christmas lunch at the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice. There was a lot of laughter and chat while enjoying a lovely lunch and two festive hampers were raffled raising £200.
At the lunch, Joint Presidents Margaret and Liz presented two members with long service certificates. Margaret Murphy has provided 42 years of service and when the club organised fundraisers Margaret was the mainstay member in the kitchen.
Liz McClure has clocked up 55 years of service, what an achievement! Liz has been a stalwart of Soroptimism in Glasgow taking office many times in Glasgow West and Glasgow City clubs.
A truly lovely afternoon and the members donated £350 to the Hospice.
