Summer Outing: Gardens and Tea!

The club does not have formal meetings over July and August, so we have a social summer outing. This year we went to Geilston Garden near Cardross. The gardens are maintained by the National Trust for Scotland and is renowned for a beautiful walled garden with a Wellingtonia tree dating back to 1797. The kitchen garden has an abundant variety of fruit, flowers and vegetables. After the garden walk, members convened to Ardardan Farm café for afternoon tea. A lovely summer outing.
