ON 25th November to mark the first day of Activism an Orange flag was hoisted at teh top of Elizabeth College. The flag was raised by our deputy bailiff Jessica Roland ( the first female bailiff ) and The Dirsector of Safer Fiona Naftel. Also

SI Guernsey Orange the World – Shoes in shops
Friday 25th November marks the Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. SI Guernsey have asked businesses in St Peter Port to display an orange shoe in their windows for 16 days to raise awareness and show support for the elimination of gender based
Coming Up – UN Day of the Elimination of Violence against Women.
SI Guernsey are joining other Soroptimists across the world taking action and calling for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
Loves Me Loves Me Not
SI Guernsey has printed posters showing what a good relationship looks like. The have been posted around the island in public places such as the hospital and library, in doctors and dentists etc. The Share Nurses distribute the bookmarks as part of their PSHE lessons./
Afternoon tea and Plant Sale

Be Lads Campaign
The guest speaker at our February supper evening was Poppy Murray who gave us a presentation of her Be Lads Campaign. She created the campaign after the case of Sarah Everard. BE LADS is an acronym for the campaign which aims to give advice to
Lavender Planting at Les Caches
Autumn 2020 Members planted lavender plugs which overwintered in a greenhouse. June 2021 Members went to Les Caches Farm which is owned by the National Trust. We planted out the 200 lavender plants which we have grown from plugs. The project started last September
