The Meru Women’s Garden Project was the SIGBI three year project 2017 – 2019. Halifax members supported this project by collecting 20ps. Dorothy Beecroft supplied members with tubes of Smarties. Once eaten the tubes were recycled for collection of our 20ps.
Halifax handed over £210 in April 2019 which would be matched by the government. By May 2019 SIGBI announced they had reached the target of £150,000. More money is still being added.
