President Val said, “The Club founded the Christmas Shop Window Competition in 2004. We are always impressed by the creativity and innovation demonstrated by the Charity shops across the Harrogate District. We look forward to seeing the shop windows this year. It has been a tough time for the retail sector. Closing the charity shops during lockdown had a major impact on the charities and the work they do. It is great to celebrate and recognise the work the staff and volunteers do in making a difference to the lives of others”.
