Was it really a month ago that we held our Summer fundraiser “Fun & Fizz”? The picture below sums up the atmosphere perfectly! We even had some sunshine.
President Susie was keen to raise additional funds for charity this year and the event certainly delivered, raising a whopping £4,000. Donations will be made to PATCH and other Soroptimist and local charities.
We were entertained during the afternoon by The Messiaens (Haverforwest High School 6th Form Band) and Filthy Lucre, both of them setting a real party atmosphere. The food was provided and prepared by members as were the floral and other decorations on the day. An example of team work at its best.
