Inspirational Woman of the Year Award

The “Woman in the Community” Award was instigated in 1998 with the first Award being presented in 1999. The Club wanted to recognise the work of the many unsung, unrecognised women in the Island who do so much for others. The Award was re-named “Inspirational Woman of the Year” in 2008. For many years the Award was presented at the Jersey Women’s Refuge Breakfast held on International Women’s Day, 8th March, the Award is now presented annually in June, at an event organised by Club members.
