The Soroptimist International Jersey Inspirational Woman of the Year Award 2026 was presented to Barbara Corbett by SIJ President Debbie Taylor. Barbara was nominated for her work as a family lawyer, particularly for her recent work on the changes in the divorce laws and for the free time she gives to families who need legal aid. 24 nominations were received this year, which is a new record.
