President Annette and Roberta delivered almost 3kg of medicine blister packs to Superdrug on Sunday. Soroptimists all over the country have been collecting the blister packs
for the last few weeks for TerracCycle to recycle in the first ‘Little Packs, Big Impact’ initiative. When TerraCyle receive the packs they sort them into reusable raw
materials to make such things as outdoor furniture, which prevents the packs from spending a lifetime in landfill. The initiative has been under threat due to costs but we are pleased that almost two years later it is still ongoing.
