Each Soroptimist International club is based in a geographical area, such as a town or city. Club members meet locally on a regular basis. These clubs are grouped into Regions or National Associations, and grouped further into the four Federations. These Federations are Great Britain and Ireland, the Americas, Europe, Africa and the South West Pacific.
SI Lancaster is in the Region of North West England and the Isle of Man, which is in the Federation of Great Britain and Ireland (SIGBI).

The United Kingdom Programme Action Committee (UKPAC) provides help and guidance to Soroptimist clubs in the UK in devising, planning and carrying out their project work (known as Programme Action).
Representatives from all 17 Regions, as far apart as Scotland North Region and South West and Channel Islands Region, serve on the Committee. Their website covers the work done by UK clubs and Regions and is designed to be a ‘one-stop shop’ with links to a variety of other Soroptimist webites and those of our partner organisations.
The Programme Action Magazine is posted monthly by our Federation. Our Federation also publishes the magazine Soroptimist News which is sent to members.
