For a number of years SI Lancaster has presented an award to a female student from Central Lancaster High School (where until recently, we held our meetings), who best represents Soroptimist values. Our 2017 award was given to Bethany Ellsworth who has an unceasing desire to succeed. She has participated in every school performance from year 7 – 11. Bethany is also involved in the wider community, theatre productions and performances. She is described as a ‘bubbly, vibrant member of the school community’. She has also received the Junior Lancashire Publicity Award 2017.
