On Thursday 26th June 2018, we visited The Apple Store at Scorton where we enjoyed a walk by the lake and explored the gardens followed by afternoon tea.

On Sunday 22nd April we celebrated our 76th Charter Anniversary. We had a very informal affair in the form of a lunch at The Fleece, Dolphinholme and were joined by some ‘Soroptimisters’ (husbands/partners). We had such a good time that we plan to return to The Fleece on Sunday 14th April 2019 to celebrate our 77th Anniversary…

Membership Month is celebrated annually in May with the aim of encouraging new members. We have a display in Lancaster Library and a Club speaker meeting open to all. Our speaker at the Open Meeting on 24th May 2018 was Steve Halliwell who spoke about and showed beautiful slides of Holker Hall Gardens and the Cartmel Peninsula.
