Soroptimist International London Collective (SILC) is a partnership of London Soroptimist Clubs designed to provide mutual support, aid joint practical action and to promote the London Clubs and Soroptimist International further in the Capital. It has been developed by a planning group of members of the London Soroptimist Clubs within SI London Anglia and SI London Chilterns Regions, supported by Regional Officers from the two regions.
Our Clubs are a part of Soroptimist International , a worldwide women’s volunteer organisation with a presence in 121 countries around the world and consultative status at the UN Commission on the Status of Women. Through volunteering and advocacy and in partnership with other great organisations, members work at a local, national and international level to educate, empower and enable opportunities for women and girls.
Members come from a wide range of backgrounds and most live, work or have personal connections in London.
