The Opening Ceremony will be on the morning of Friday, 3 November 2023.
Friends House is a smaller venue, seating a maximum of 1,000 and is very well situated, being immediately opposite Euston Station.
It has a vegetarian/vegan café, which I can vouch for, having sampled the food on a site visit earlier this year!
There are also many other eateries nearby and situated in the food court surrounding the station.
There are a number of hotels within a 7–9-minute walk, ranging from a Premier Inn and Travel Lodge to the Hilton and Ambassador, both of which are just around the corner to Friends House.
Enhance your London experience by exploring the British Museum, which is dedicated to human history, art and culture and is just a short walk away in Great Russell Street.
The Wellcome Trust, a global charitable foundation, is in a neighbouring building, whose mission it is to support research into life, health and wellbeing, so that everyone can benefit from science’s potential to improve health and save lives. The Wellcome Collection is their free museum, exploring health and human experience.
Regent’s Park, London Zoo and Madame Tussauds are only a pleasant walk away or a few stops on the London Underground – alternatively wrap up warm and see the sites on a London open top bus!
Keep an eye on the website for more information as planning for conference progresses.
