On 22 February, Lillian Gould and Jane Barnes were able to finally present the copies of the Brave Book. 
The Soroptimists were donating these books to Jon Carthy, Headteacher at Byron Primary School in Gillingham. The presentation was delayed due to incidents of covid in the school and staff shortages as a result.
Jon Carthy was pleased to receive the Brave books. The Brave book is about freedom and friendship and raising awareness to keep children safe from exploitation. Jon said, ‘we will be looking to use them as a resource for 8 – 10 years as part of their ‘Life Learning’ curriculum.
