Friendship is a key aspect of Soroptimist’s and we use these links to connect with other clubs globally as well as nationally. By nurturing these friendships we foster collaboration, share knowledge and promote understanding across different cultures. These links are vital for joint action projects, cultural exchange, and providing mutual support between clubs. At Port Talbot we have 2 current Friendship links our closest geographically being SI Cannock & Districts. Both clubs have nurtured this link for over YEARS.
SI Port Talbot enjoyed a wonderful visit hosted by SI Cannock. They were superb hosts, making us feel extremely welcome. The visit also included a visit to the National Memorial Arboretum at Airewas, near Lichfield, Staffordshire.

The beautiful grounds are home to acres of landscape and memorials, which our members enjoyed walking through and discovering.
