In December we were delighted to place our Christmas Tree in the Castle at Margam Park. Our tree was decorated in Ukrainian colours, with the theme of peace. Adorning the tree were prayers in both English and Ukrainian from local groups and children. The majestic Tudor Gothic Mansion is transformed into a winter wonderland around December, offering visitors a magical atmosphere to explore and enjoy.
The “Christmas Tree at the Castle” event at Margam Park is part of the annual Community Christmas Tree Festival. This yearly festival typically runs from mid-November to late December. It is organised in partnership with The Friends of Margam Park. Local schools, businesses, and community groups are invited to decorate their own Christmas trees, which are then displayed inside the historic Castle.
